It’s not a shocker that sugar has very negative effect on our bodies. I was just hoping that I’d be one of the few who could eat all the donuts in the world and not have to do serious damage control like, ever.
Firstly, I have always had a pimple-prone face, and still do. It doesn’t help at all that my go-to pick me up is chocsticks😓
I use these as an alternative :
Dried cranberries and raisins, yes they do have sugar in them -you just need to watch the sugar and sulfur content. It’s hard to say no to a second glazed doughnut, but I do. Instead I opt to have some boiled water with two teaspoons of raw honey in them 🙂
Below is what I look like before bed: (not at all flattering, I know…)
I’m using Essence spot killer R54.95 retail price -it minimizes pimples and reduces redness overnight.
I enjoy chocolates, however I make sure that they are dark chocolate or sugar free.
You may purchase the spot killer at any Clicks shop or should you wish to do an online purchase, takealot.com is an easier route too. For the dark chocolate, I buy the Wawel brand at Checkers (R20.00 a slab, but definitely worth it) 😉
